Are you looking for an answer to the question :does green tea have caffeine?

In that case, I can give you my short answer:

Yes, it can.

Green tea does contain caffeine.

Proceed if you would like the longer, more in depth answer

Green tea contains less caffeine than coffee
However, it lets you do contain a much smaller amount than coffee.

A cup of coffee may contain up to 100-150mg of caffeine, while a mug of green tea contains about 25mg. This is a much smaller
amount, and folks often use green tea as an alternative while quitting coffee, as a way to reduce withdrawal symptoms.

White tea contains less caffeine, while black tea contains more.

If you would like to know the significance of this, i quickly recommend you look into my green tea vs coffee post, where I compare the
health results of coffee and tea.

Tea contains other stimulants related to caffeine
Green tea also contains other substances that stimulate the heart and central nervous system.

They may be called Theobromine and Theophylline. They're related to caffeine plus they are also found in the Cocao plant (what
chocolate consists of).

Tea also contains an protein called L-Theanine, which is shown to have a calming effect. It might slightly offset a number of
the stimulant effects

Why so much interest?
Well, although coffee just isn't bad for you in any way, a number of people don't like the side effects of it and that is in a large
part as a result of caffeine content.

Some uncomfortable side effects of caffeine occasionally includes anxiety, restlessness and insomnia. These are mostly due to the stimulant results of
caffeine, and since green tea contains less of it then it should cause less unwanted side effects.

For these reasons, green tea may be a healthy alternative to coffee. It has even been proven to have some decent health benefits,
that is a subject for a later blog post.

P.S. I don't really like to promote other artists products on my website, but also for this one I will make the best. It is called
Stresses, and they are offering a fairly sweet package if you wants a complete means to fix their eating
plan.

It's a book, along with a lot of bonuses, such as a complete day-to-day weight loss plan, recipes and many more. I suggest you at
least check out their free video, they may be giving away a lot of free information that suits with a lot of what I ought to say
here with this blog. Make sure to watch 'till the end.
