Failure is much more than a onetime event. This is a habit. A successful person could fail, but is simply thought to be a failure when he or she stops striving and accepts the failure rather than use the event as a stepping stone on their journey. It is only if a person stops attempting and accepts the failed event that he or she is considered a downfall. The longer they remain in this state of having given up and refusing to 'get up' from their fall, the deeper they sink into failure and the harder it is to rise from this bondage of failure once again. It does not take a 'loser' to fall short.
Unfortunately, plenty of intelligent and talented individuals around the globe with amazing potential are stuck in the bondage of failure. Their friends, the ones they love, their bosses, their coworkers, and neighbors all watch as they all deeper and deeper in the dark pinions of hopelessness and despair and frequently feel like there is nothing they can do. But there is something they could do.
Essentially the most strong way to break the bondage of failure should be to inspire hope and a remarkable way to do this is to remind the person of their past achievements. A creative and fun way to do this is to invest in pre-made crystal awards or to special order engraved plaques and awards that celebrate the great and successful things they have done in their lives. These don't really need to be as awesome as saving lives in a remote African village or rescuing animals of an endangered species on a distant coast. They might be as everyday but special like being a thoughtful friend, a simple yet effective worker, a helpful neighbor, a caring parent, a compassionate volunteer. They are all achievements that don't make the front page of the paper, but which should be recognized for the great sacrifices the individual makes daily for them. Nevertheless, there are numerous ways to be reminded of how special the person is like a get together, a homemade meal, a big hug, the ones that have the most and lasting impact would be the tangible ones that the person can put on their desk or counter and be reminded day after day, again and again of who they are and how much they are treasured.
Failure is inescapable. But irrespective of its effects to mankind, life must go on. Whether or not we are struggling into business or any relationship, we have to remember that failure is an additional path that will yield to a different horizon that is suitable for us. So to be able to break the bondage of failure, we must fuel ourselves with eagerness to try harder until we achieve our dreams.
